Heather and Mitch's Engagement Shoot

We absolutely cannot wait to photograph Mitch and Heather's big day coming on the 2011 New Years Day.  So for now, we're currently happy that we were able to photograph this happy couple for an engagement shoot in Rochester, New York this past November.  And, since there's tons of snow outside in Rochester, we thought it would be nice to look back at some warm fall photos!

The perfect and colorful weather at a park and a lively pumpkin patch location were the quintessential backdrops for our shoot.  We had fun capturing silly and quirky moments of our couple pick out pumpkins and kissing in the corn rows.

We love that Heather and Mitch are so nice and fun in person and really cannot wait to photograph them again this January 2011!

Cheers,

Ashley and Jake's Wedding

Shinay and I had the honor of photographing Ashley and Jake's wedding in mid October and had a blast mingling and shooting that day.  Knowing the couple and their family and friends made photographing their wedding all the more fun and easy going.  But beyond our shooting comfort zone, we also were able to capture two wonderful people making a big lifetime commitment before their friends and family.  And it was just as special as a wedding could be.

Ashley and Jake pulled out all the stops for their photographs that day by inviting us to shoot their formals at the Genesee Country Village and Museum.  If you ever do make your way near the small town of Mumford, New York, stop by the museum for an amazing look back at 19th century life in the Genesee Valley.  The museum holds historic buildings with live demonstrations and actors that play through the daily lives in the 19th century.  Needless to say, we were not without any inspiration for their shoot!

In all, Shinay and I had a wonderful time catching up with some friends, photographing our couple and enjoying a lovely country wedding for two really great people!  We wish Ashley and Jake our best.

Cheers,
