Carys and Anthony's Wedding
A couple of weeks ago, Erin and I ventured out to the Botanical Gardens on Staten Island, New York to photograph a wedding that was very special to me. Compared to Erin, it was not so much of a journey for me since I only live across the bridge in Brooklyn, but it was worth the drive. Carys and Anthony's big day was my first opportunity to photograph a family members wedding. Even though I was surround by everyone I knew, which is unusual for a wedding photographer, I am sure that Erin could vouch for me and say that this was special for her as well. From the "I dos" to the first dance, the day was filled with surprises that made us laugh, cry and in the end get out of our seats and dance. I wish Carys and Anthony Smith all the best.
Take Care,

A formal and colorful wedding
One of our most recent weddings that Shinay and I had the chance to shoot was filled with a rich culture and steeped in deep traditions. And to reserve and respect the privacy of our newly married couple, family and friends, we've kept out any outward information and faces in photographs. What we can say is that we were very honored to be apart of our couple's day and to be able to photograph their friends and family. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating to us. We wish the best for our new couple and hope that we get another chance to experience and photograph new and rich cultures like this one.
Cheers,
Erin
